Monotonix are a 3-piece of vocals, guitar and drums hailing from Tel-Aviv, Israel. On their American tour, Monotonix opened for the Silver Jews in the west coast playing to thousands of people in cities like SF and LA.

Monotonix have just finished recording in Tel-Aviv with producer Kramer (Daniel Johnston, Low, Pussy Galore, Butthole Surfers, Royal Trux). Advance copies will be sold on our spring & summer tours of the U.S and Europe.

The five young lads of The Pleasure Principle decided they wanted to try to sound British, but because none of them were originally from one of the islands, the Britpop-sound was never really achieved. Instead, it sounded more like ‘britporn’, an orgy of Britpop and Indierock, combined with some jazzy/funky/disco sounds.
