Prior to becoming
Gascoigne in the spring of 2005, some members were trying to find their musical
outlet in bands like Gilgamesh, BBK, Point of Few and Propagator. With these
different backgrounds they turned Gascoigne into a melting pot where trashcore,
punk and rock 'n' roll are the key ingredients. However, they are still in the
process of fine-tuning their sound. Often described by others as "fast hardcore
with a pissed-off rock 'n roll bite" they have been storming the stages
throughout The Netherlands supporting a wide variety of acts such as The Queers,
Seein' Red, RAMBO, Kylesa, Omission, Paint it Black and Annihilation Time with
an occasional trip to Germany. Future plans for 2007 include touring and
recording a new full length album.

In 2005 Loggan quit the band since his other band, Subvision, took to much time. But we did record 10 songs with this line up, to be used on two split-LP's.In the summer of 2005 we got back on the european roads again, touring Germany, Austria, France, Holland, Belgium and The Czech Rep. Since we prefer two guitars in the band, we brought on yet another new member into our family. This time is was our long time friend from "back home", Martin. (Circle A/Decontrol/Butchery) Martin did'nt want to play the bass so he played guitar and Chris played bass. Well, back from the tour, Bosse left... But he got back again shorty after. Or in his own words: Bombstrike is like a venereal disease, once you got it, you can't get rid of it, but you learn to live with It. Right in time for the tour, Wasted Sounds and Yellow Dog Rec. released the split-LP with Reign of Bombs. In November 2005 we toured Finland with Murder Junkies (USA), playing 3 gigs in Finland and 1 in Åland, the island between Finland and Sweden. And finally, in 2006, we agreed to stop this "I don't wanna play bass" nonsense... So now we all play bass and rotate every gig. Hehehe... During the x-mas 2006 we entered the HELTER SKELTER studio in Stockholm with our former bas player Loggan as the crustcore wizard, giving us the sound of the apocalypse. This ended in 16 tracks of Christ-denying, we prefer drugs, this is as good as it gets, soon to be released as a CD/LP of Sthlm misery. We guess that 12-14 of the songs will be on the album, called "BORN INTO THIS". To be released by POWER IT UP REC. from Germany in JUNE 2007. European tour in August/September
