Anti-PlayaxAnti-Playax uit Valencia een punkband bestaande uit leden van onder meer Derotta, Holocaust in your Head en Zanussi.

De band is opgericht met als doel ouderwets simpele en doeltreffende punk te maken.

Tekstueel gaan socio-politieke issues en humor hand in hand bij Anti-Playax en veel nummers gaan over het massatoerisme dat hun woonplaats jaarlijks overstroomt en de gevolgen daarvan.

Of zoals Borat altijd zegt: ?Is nice, I like!?

Early 2004, four guys decided to start a band after the local scene in their area dimmed. Soon the fifth member joined the band and to tee off they started out covering some legendary songs like Let It Ride by Floorpunch en AM/PM by American Nightmare.

At that time they were mostly influenced by bands such as The Bronx, Suicide File and Circle. Punky hardcore with a rock 'n roll edge.
But as some years passed by, the focus naturally moved to a more dark en aggressive sound.

Early 2007 the band released their first demo and sadly not long after the drummer decided to call it quit. Luckily a new drummer was found pretty soon en he brought a more complex structure to the sound of the band. Like the cream on the cake.

Now their sound can be described as a mix between Cursed, Refused, early Isis and The Hope Conspiracy. Define it as heavy, "sludging" hardcore with an emotional and political message.
